Dear Friend of Willwoods,

I hope that you and your family are staying safe and healthy during these difficult times. By now, we are all used to wearing masks and the phrases “social distancing”, “flattening the curve”, “Zoom” and the numerous other words added to our vocabulary due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The world that we knew as normal, is anything but as we come to the close of 2020.

Despite it all, the Willwoods Community has remained mission driven and focused on serving those in the Archdiocese of New Orleans during this crisis.  From keeping our residents safe and secure at our affordable housing properties to providing daily Mass, Holy Week services and Ordinations on TV and on-line, to opening back up retreats for married couples along with social media content for families in quarantine, the apostolates of Willwoods have been quite active and responding to those in need.

Thanks to all on our staff who worked together to meet these challenges and to our boards and to you our loyal stakeholders who offered prayers and support along the way.

So, as you consider your year-end gift, I humbly ask to please remember the Willwoods Community and all that we have done and continue to do in service to the Archdiocese of New Orleans for the past forty years. Your donation, however large or small, helps us to continue to grow and sustain our mission – Rooted in Prayer, United in Service.

May you have a blessed Christmas season and a prosperous and Happy New Year!
