A Letter From the President of Willwoods Community:

My dear friends of the Willwoods Community ministries:

Our Willwoods Community ministries are facing many challenges. The reality is that we are facing an economy that is getting weaker each day. Recently, at a meeting of our Board of Trustees, I mentioned that our five-year-plan for each ministry is on hold as we feel obliged to be very cautious through 2010.

However, even in these trying times, each ministry continues to provide loving and caring service. As you read and review the messages of each of the senior managers and vice presidents, you will sense in them what I have come to know – that they strive to provide quality service even under difficult circumstances. I share with each of our ministries a sense of service. I find inspiration in their determination to serve with commitment and gratitude.

We are grateful for the support of our new Archbishop, Gregory Aymond, as well as all of our former Archbishops. In the main office, the Archbishop has given us the privilege of having the Blessed Sacrament in a small chapel. I offer a daily Mass, and am blessed to be joined by our colleagues who share the Eucharist, after which we offer our Willwoods Prayer. It is also an honor to be able to offer the daily Mass on the internet at www.TheDailyMass.com, and we have heard words of appreciation from ninety-three countries.

Our spiritual energy comes from you – the many people who pray for our ministries. We all know that with faith we can meet the challenges and continue to bring the “Good News” to others.

Ever devotedly in Willwoods Community,

(Rev.) Thomas E. Chambers, C.S.c., Ph.D., L.P.C.
